When should I come?
Every Sunday morning the coffee is served at 9:45 and the service kicks off at 10:00.
Where do I go?
Parkland is located at 9574 160th Street in Surrey, BC. If you are taking transit, there are bus stops nearby. If you are driving, we have a large parking lot for you to park your car. When approaching the building, you’ll find our main entrance through the double doors on the right.
What can I expect?
After being greeted at the door, you can come in and grab a cup of tea or coffee, and then make your way into the auditorium for some live music and teaching. Visitors are not acknowledged during the service, so you can sit, relax, and just take it in. After the service, you’re free to head home or stay for a fresh cup of coffee and some conversation.
Is there something for kids to do during the service?
Kids from preschool to Grade 5 can join our Park Kids program! Your children will enjoy a time of learning and playing at an age-appropriate level. Please visit the Park Kids registration table to get your kids signed up before the service starts. Your family can stay together for some singing at the beginning of the church service and then your kids will be dismissed to their Park Kids class.
What about younger kids?
We have a nursery room that is a self-serve area for parents with children from newborn to 2 years old. The nursery has windows that look into the auditorium and has speakers that play what is happening during the service. So you can hang out with your little one and stay connected to what’s going on at the same time.
How should I dress?
However you dress the rest of the week! We all just come as we are.
Do I need to give money?
No. There is an opportunity to make a cash or cheque donation during the service, but there is no obligation or expectation to do so.
