By 2013, through prayer and dependence upon the Lord, we have become a healthy, growing church of 500, engaged in global missions and in a position to send 100 people to plant a healthy, growing, reproducing church.
Through 85% participation in small groups, our children's, youth, and adult ministries and missions have encouraged strong relationship building and developed effective disciples of Jesus Christ. Through leadership in the community, our loving care, and outreach, God has brought many people to faith as demonstrated by the 10% of attendees baptized each year.
The following paragraphs paint a picture of what we hope to achieve through the grace of God at work among us.
We dream about building a community where we are passionate about bringing Jesus to lost people. We envision reaching out to as many people as possible, but especially to those with whom we work, live, and study. We seek to develop, support and send people to areas nearby and throughout the world.
We dream about connecting people in a caring community where we are free to celebrate God's gifts of life and grace. We recognize that life is difficult and at times overwhelming. We long to enjoy life and each other as we build a caring community in a stressful world. We believe that meaningful relationships are most likely to develop through the dynamic of an active small group.
We dream about building a community where Christ's passion to serve others is caught and practiced by everyone. To us, Christ-like service mirrors God's grace.
We dream about building a community where God is growing disciples that are so passionate about following Jesus Christ that by the power of the Holy Spirit we reorder our lives -- our relationships, habits, traditions, and possessions — in order to become more like Him and encourage and equip others to also be more like Him.
We dream about building a community where our worship of God is so authentic that we are continually overwhelmed with His greatness. We long to be a community that worships God in spirit and in truth. We envision becoming a community where the hunger for pursuing God is normative for every believer.
