... it may have been on a project at work or a sports team. The advantages of having a team of players or workers are obvious; more people usually means a lighter work load for everybody. Different people bring a variety of skills and abilities to a project. Team members are there to support and encourage each other through each stage of the project or game.
Now, wouldn't it be nice to have that same advantage in our spiritual life? If a team of people is better for everyday projects how much more important is a team of people helping you navigate through the ups and downs of spiritual growth?
Care groups consist of 4 to 12 people who meet together on a weekly basis in someone's home. These groups study the Bible together, pray together, and support one another. Why not try one out this week? All of our groups are open and encourage newcomers.
